Organic Chestnut Honey - 900g

Organic chestnut honey produced by our bees originating from the chestnut forests of the natural parks of northern Spain. These natural parks are located in the province of Soria (Spain) at an altitude of approximately 1,000 to 2,200 meters. 

Bona Mel organic chestnut honey is dark amber coloured, with floral aroma, wood scented and in the mouth a  sweet taste with salty undertones, with a bitter touch, if heather appears or an acid taste, if blackberry appears in its composition. We harvest it from beehives in the month of July.

SENSORY CHARACTERISTICS: 
- Visual appearance (colour): Dark amber. Aroma:
- Floral scent with a final note of wood.
- Taste (mouthfeel): Sweet taste with salty undertones; if heather appears, with a bitter touch or if blackberry appears in its composition, then acid.
- Texture (Crystallization): Slow crystallization.
